The Comiskey Group has officially unveiled a $350,000 renovation of the band room at the iconic Imperial Hotel Eumundi, breathing new life into one of Queensland’s most beloved regional live music venues.
At the heart of this transformation is a commitment to elevating the live music experience. The refreshed space, now boasting a retro, old-Hollywood feel, features pressed metal textures, moody ambient lighting by chandelier, and refined finishes that pay homage to the venue’s storied past while setting the stage for its future.
New professional lighting rigs, enhanced acoustics, and an upgraded stage set up now offer touring artists and audiences alike a setting worthy of standout performances.

Uniquely, the venue’s elevated performance space overlooks the Eumundi Brewery, recently purchased by the Comiskey Group from Lion, creating a one-of-a-kind connection between the region’s craft brewing heritage and its vibrant music culture. Guests can extend the experience with a stay at the Imperial Hotel’s Boutique Accommodation—offering a contemporary, comforting retreat complete with wellness facilities.
