The second annual Samford Long Lunch took place on Saturday 9th September at Alan Cash Park, next to Samford Hotel. The Comiskey Group started the event in 2022 in support of local rugby team, the Samford Stags. After raising close to $7,000 in its first year, the second annual event in 2023 saw $10,000 raised!

“I’d like to thank everyone that attended, our sponsors, and staff that put on such a great event! Samford Long Lunch continues to grow in numbers each year, we look forward to bringing the event back in 2024 and hope to see even more people enjoy a day out in Samford, raising money for the stags!” says Director Paul Comiskey.
The 2023 event was hosted by Nova radio presenter, Luttsy, and sponsored by What’s On Moreton Bay, Treasury Wine Estates, St Joesph’s Nudgee College and Samford Hotel.

The Comiskey family hope to continue to bring the community together each year and believe it is only the start for the Samford Long Lunch.
The ultimate country Hamptons inspired long lunch is back in 2024 with dates to be confirmed soon. Located in the beautiful Alan Cash Park, home to the Samford Stags, take a picturesque drive to Samford, through forest, farmland and valleys, for the social event of the season.
