The industry’s night of nights, the Australian Hotels Association Awards for Excellence took place on Monday evening in Sydney. The Comiskey Group were finalists in a whopping 6 categories across Eatons Hill Hotel, Sandstone Point Hotel and BIG4 Sandstone Point Holiday Resort.
Eatons Hill Hotel took out “Best Outdoor/Non Enclosed Facility” and the major win, “Overall Hotel of the Year” metropolitan.
The national Overall Hotel of the Year title has remained in the Comiskey Group family for two years in a row now, with Sandstone Point Hotel winning in 2021, now passing the torch to Eatons Hill Hotel in 2022.
Director Rob Comiskey was pleasantly surprised by the win for a second year in a row
“We were all very surprised to come home with the Overall Hotel of the Year award; winning it for the second year in a row was an unbelievable result. I am so proud of my family, our management team and staff who certainly deserve this recognition for all their hard work, especially during these challenging times for our industry.
