The Cactus House

Built in 2013 by the Comiskey Group in collaboration with KP Architects, this striking Palm Springs–inspired residence in Brisbane’s inner-city suburbs has become an iconic backdrop for some of Australia’s most prestigious brands. With expansive city views and bold architectural design, the three-storey property seamlessly blends minimalist and mid-century modern aesthetics with contemporary details such as exposed concrete and desert stone walls.

The Cactus House is a sleek, ultra-modern setting, available for photoshoots, TV, film and corporate events. Flexible hire options are available, with both half-day and full-day packages on offer.

The Loft

Once a 1950s electricity sub-station on Enoggera Road in Alderley, the property was purchased by the Comiskey Group in 2003 and reimagined into a striking, high-end residence. What was once a purely functional industrial building became a bold architectural statement, blending its raw heritage with contemporary luxury. The transformation turned the address into a magazine cover–worthy bachelor pad, celebrated for its unique character and seamless balance of old and new.

The property, later sold by the Comiskey Group, remains a standout in Alderley’s streetscape—a rare example of Brisbane’s industrial history redefined as modern living.

Tinbeerwah Residence

The Comiskey Group delivered a premium residential project in Tinbeerwah, nestled in the scenic Noosa Hinterland. Designed to maximise space, light and livability, the home features floor-to-ceiling windows, stacking glass doors and skylights, creating seamless connections with its natural surroundings. Dakabin Hotel & Village

The Comiskey Group built, own and operate Dakabin Hotel and Dakabin Village, a major $35 million development in the heart of the Moreton Bay region. Construction commenced in 2021 and was completed in 2023, bringing to life a contemporary precinct designed to meet the needs of a rapidly growing community.

The hotel showcases a modern architectural style with expansive indoor and outdoor dining areas, a sports bar, gaming lounge, two kitchens, a restaurant and kids arcade, while the adjoining retail village offers a mix of large-format and specialty tenancies.

Sandstone Point Hotel

Built, owned and operated by the Comiskey Group, Sandstone Point Hotel is a landmark $50 million development spanning 35 hectares on the shores of Pumicestone Passage, with breathtaking views of Bribie Island. Completed after an 18-month construction period, the iconic venue opened in 2015, thoughtfully designed to complement its coastal setting. The hotel showcases a modern yet inviting architectural style, featuring expansive outdoor terraces, carefully curated landscaping, and interiors that blend rustic charm with coastal elegance.

Eatons Hill Hotel

Built, owned and operated by the Comiskey Group, Eatons Hill Hotel is the largest pub in the Southern Hemisphere. Set across six hectares, the venue features nine bars, 16 function spaces, a restaurant, kids’ playground, nightclub, gaming room and an on-site distillery, alongside 90 rooms of 4.5-star accommodation and a retail precinct.
