Today, Queensland’s fastest growing privately owned hospitality company, the Comiskey Group, released the first artist impressions of Dakabin Hotel, and announced the pub would feature its very own indoor basketball court!
Sitting on 3.75 hectares of land on the corner of Alma and Old Gympie Road, the $35m Dakabin Hotel development is due for completion mid-to-late 2024, along with a $15m on-site shopping precinct.
The shopping centre development will be accompanied by some multi-national tenants including; Guzman Y Gomez, KFC, Zarraffa’s and a NightOwl service station.
Director Rob Comiskey has had a large amount of leasing enquiries and has confirmed some major brands opening soon.
“Dakabin is a massive growth area, not to mention its close proximity to the thriving North Lakes community, it really is a great opportunity for leasing. Our Dakabin development is in a high profile location on the main road, offering great visibility right opposite Woolworths. We do have a few tenancies left and we are looking for businesses that we believe will be well-suited to the area; if you think that’s you then by all means get in touch!” says Rob.
There are a few tenancies left and the Comiskey Group are open to leasing enquiries via firstname.lastname@example.org
Dakabin Hotel itself will have a restaurant with both indoor and outdoor dining, a sports bar with TAB, a gaming room, a large kid’s room with an indoor basketball court and a few unexpected surprises that are sure to have the community excited when they are announced!
The hotel’s striking architectural design is also predicted to become a talking point.
Director David Comiskey says Dakabin Hotel will take shape in the coming months with the structural work starting any day now.
“The earthworks are nearing completion and we will commence the concrete footings very soon. In just a few months Dakabin Hotel will start to take shape and the progress should be exciting to watch. We had been working on the design of the development for over a year, we put a lot of effort into it and so we were very eager to release the artist impressions when they were complete. It’s great to finally be able to show the community what we have planned. We hope you can see by the quality of the build that we have made every effort to deliver a world-class venue to Dakabin for all to enjoy” says David.
